Meet The Teaching Team

Miss Hannaby

I feel privileged to introduce myself as the newest member of the school family, taking on the role of EYFS/KS1 Teacher. Having had the opportunity to work in various schools, I am keen to bring my interests and experience to my practice here at Welshampton Primary. I firmly believe in the profound impact that early education can have on young minds, and I am truly passionate and honoured to be a part of shaping the bright futures of our pupils. I am committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our children, where they can thrive and develop a love for learning.

Outside of school, I love spending quality time with friends and family, heading out on my paddleboard, trying to stand up on my surfboard, and exploring new destinations through travel. In fact, you may have heard about my recent two-month road trip around Europe or my past escapades interrailing through Italy and campervanning around Australia.

Ms Evans

I have worked at Welshampton for 15 years. During this time I qualified as a HLTA and a Forest School Leader. This is a particular passion of mine, I love the adventures we share on the field, even the wet and windy ones! I work mainly in Willow Class however as a HLTA I also cover Management and PPA sessions across the school. I pride myself on being adaptable and organised.

I co-ordinate the Fabulous Friday tuck rota which enables KS2 children to have a daily piece of fruit and a special treat each Friday provided by our wonderful parents.

I live with my family in Welshampton. We spend lots of time outdoors exploring the countryside walking and on our bikes. In my free time I love reading and baking for friends and family . I love spending time with my young grandchildren as they keep me on my toes and my mind active!

Miss Edge

I am qualified level 3 childcare practitioner. I have been working within Early Years for 8 years now, working with children from babies to 5 years old. I am passionate about working with children, helping them start their educational journey, helping them reach their full potential and develop as an individual.

Outside of school, I enjoy socialising with my friends and throughly enjoy spending time with family, especially my 2 year old daughter, who keeps me very busy!

OUR VISION

'Let your light shine' encapsulates the school's commitment to provide an enriching education which is deep and broad.
