Meet The Administration Team

Mrs Hordern

For the past 16 years it has been an absolute privilege to work as a Teaching Assistant at Newtown Primary School. I have cherished all the magical moments with the children; from when they read their first words and the excitement and pride they have in themselves, to supporting them on their learning journey towards secondary school.

I am now so excited to have begun a new journey of my own at Welshampton Primary School as an Administrator. I am looking forward to meeting lots of new children and parents and supporting them with the endless amounts of administration which goes on behind the scenes ! But also, to be an emotional support when children have concerns or worries. My philosophy is to always think about the effect you have on those around you; children need positivity, laughter, kindness and love and I make it my aim to provide these every day.

When I am not working the three jobs I currently have, I like to immerse myself in a good book and I love swimming and playing badminton.
